Tekdroip is an independent directory of ATMs and cash deposit machines (CDMs) in India. It exists for one simple moment: you need cash, or you need to deposit it, and you want to know which machine to walk to, where exactly it is, and whether it will be open.
What you will find here
- 500 ATM and CDM listings across 150 cities in 26 states and union territories, from Kozhikode and Kochi to Guwahati, Srinagar and Bhubaneswar.
- For each machine: the address, an embedded map, the opening hours recorded for that location, the public rating, and one-tap buttons to get directions, copy the address or share it.
- City and state pages that group the machines so you can compare what is nearby.
- Practical guides on the questions people actually have at the machine: how to deposit cash at an SBI CDM, what ATM charges apply, what to do when money is debited but no cash comes out, and how to complain to the RBI Ombudsman.
Who runs Tekdroip
Tekdroip was created by Sneha Kulkarni, who started it because cash still matters in everyday Indian life: paying a local vendor, settling a bill in a small town, or needing money late at night in an unfamiliar city. She built the site so that finding a working machine, and knowing what to do when a transaction goes wrong, takes a minute instead of a walk around the block. Sneha looks after the listings, the guides and the corrections readers send in.
Where the information comes from
Listing details (address, map position, opening hours and rating) are compiled from publicly available location data for each machine. The guides are written from official sources: Reserve Bank of India circulars and press releases, and the published pages of the banks and ATM operators concerned. Each guide states which sources it was checked against and when.
ATMs move, close and get rebranded more often than most people think. Several banks that once had their own ATMs (Andhra Bank, Syndicate Bank, Vijaya Bank and others) were merged into larger banks between 2017 and 2020, and some listings still carry those old names because that is how the machines are known locally. Our guide on merged banks explains who runs them now.
What Tekdroip is not
- We are not a bank and not connected to any bank, ATM operator or the Reserve Bank of India. Bank names and brands appear only to identify the machines.
- We do not handle money, open accounts, or install ATMs. Any offer to install an ATM “through Tekdroip” is a scam.
- We will never ask for your card number, PIN, OTP or UPI PIN. For problems with a transaction, contact your own bank.
Keeping it accurate
If a machine has closed, moved, changed its hours or now belongs to a different bank, please tell us through the contact page. Corrections from people who use these machines every day are the most reliable updates we get, and we fix confirmed errors on the listing page.
How the site is funded
Tekdroip is free to use. It may show advertising to cover hosting and maintenance. Advertising never decides which machines are listed or how they are described. You can read how data and cookies are handled in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
